The manufacture of all plastic containers involves injection molding machine. Many buckets are made out of high-density polyethylene. HDPE is a durable, non-reactive thermoplastic that resists impact and inhospitable climates during transit or storage. In the plastic bucket injection molding machine process, raw HDPE resin, which in the beginning of the molding process is called stock, is loaded into a hopper. The hopper then directs the stock into a conveyance channel where a large screw forces the stock toward a mold. As the screw turns, the combination of friction and pressure heats the stock.

This heating, combined with extra heat provided by heating elements along the channel, heats the stock to the point of liquefication. At this point, the liquefied stock enters a mold cavity and takes its shape. Compressed air is then blown into the cavity, hollowing out the middle of the plastic mold. Once the plastic bucket injection molding machine molding process is finished, the product is allowed to cool and harden. It is then ejected from the mold, cleansed of imperfections (if they are present) and either shipped or sent for additional processing.


What is the injection pressure of the ZOWEITE® plastic bucket injection molding machine?

The injection pressure is provided by the hydraulic system of the injection system. The pressure of the hydraulic cylinder is transmitted to the plastic melt through the screw of the ZOWEITE® plastic bucket injection molding machine. Driven by the pressure, the plastic melt enters the vertical channel (also the main channel for some molds), the main channel and the shunt channel of the mold through the nozzle of the plastic bucket injection molding machine, and enters the mold cavity through the gate. This process is called the injection molding process, or the filling process. The existence of pressure is to overcome the resistance in the melt flow process, or conversely, the resistance in the flow process needs to be offset by the pressure of the plastic bucket injection molding machine to ensure the smooth filling process. In the injection molding process, the pressure at the nozzle of the plastic bucket injection molding machine is high to overcome the flow resistance in the whole process of the melt. Then, the pressure gradually decreases along the flow length to the front wave front of the melt.
