1.What raw materials are used to produce plastic knife, fork and spoon?

Generally , PS or PP raw material are used to production knife, fork and spoons.

PS: The MFR of various models of PS does not differ significantly, which can be used to produce knife, fork and spoons.

PP: Usually use the MFR 50-60 PP raw material to produce knife, fork, and spoons.

2.What are the machines needed to make knife, fork and spoons?

(1)Knife Fork And Spoon Injection Molding Machine

High speed machine: We usually use high speed machine to produce knife, fork and spoons now. High speed machine is a special designed machine for thin walled plastic products and have a high pressure and high speed injection system. ZOWEITE® factory KC series high speed machine of 230 tons high speed machine can meet the production of common models of knife, fork and spoon in the market production.

Standard machine: Standard machine only can produce thick walled knife, fork and spoon. Usually we recommend 260 tons standard injection molding machine.

Theses models of knife, fork and spoon injection molding machine are for reference only, ZOWEITE® will recommend the suitable machines based on the size, weight, hourly production (the cavities of mold) and customer requirements.

(2)Mold:

Ordinary mold: 28 cavities or 32 cavities knife, fork and spoons mold are common in the market. Our 230 tons high speed machine can meet the requirements.

Stack mold. In order to meet the production needs of customers. 64 cavities mold and 72 cavities stack mold of knife, fork and spoons are also very common now. Usually we recommend 420 tons or 460 tons knife, fork and spoon injection molding machine.

After the customer provides us with drawings or samplers, we will design the mold according to the customer’s needs.

(3)Robot:

The robot mainly takes the knife, fork and spoons off the mold and puts them on the conveyor belt. In addition, the robot also has an alarm function. If the knife, fork and spoons are not removed, the robot will alarm and stop operation to protect the machinery and the mold from damage.

(4)Chiller:

Chiller is used to cool the mold.

(5)Cooling tower:

Cooling tower is used to cool the machine.

(6)Auto loader:

Auto loader can transfer the raw materials to the hopper of the knife, fork and spoons injection molding machine.

(7)Volumetric Doser and Mixer

Volumetric Doser: Volumetric dose is placed on the hopper of the injection mold machine, and can add color masterbatches according to the ration set by the computer.

Mixer: Mixer is the need to manually add color masterbatches and raw material to mix and transport them to the hopper of the knife, fork and spoons injection molding machine using a auto loader.

(8)Air compressor.

The above are the machines are required for the knife, fork and spoon production line.
