Generally speaking, the production process of plastic bottle cap is roughly divided into two types: compression plastic cap production process and injection moulding machine for bottle caps process.

Production process of compression molding cover: the suction machine sucks the mixed materials into the barrel of the compression molding machine, heats them in the barrel to the semi molten plasticization state, and then quantitatively extrudes them into the mold cavity. The upper and lower molds are closed, compression molded, cooled, shaped and demoulded, and then the production of compression molding cover is completed through ring cutting and padding.

Production process of injection moulding machine for bottle caps cover: the suction machine sucks the mixed materials into the barrel of the injection molding machine, heats them to the melting and plasticizing state in the barrel, injects them into the mold cavity, cools, shapes and demoulds them in the cavity, and then completes the production of injection molding cover through ring cutting and padding.

What is the raw material for injection moulding machine for bottle caps?

According to the raw materials of bottle cap, it is divided into PE cap and PP cap

PE (polyethylene): density: 0.94-0.96g/cm3,

The processing temperature is about 220 ℃; Compared with PP, it is softer and single-chip cover is more commonly used. PE is basically divided into three categories: high pressure low density polyethylene (LDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE) and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). High density polyethylene (HDPE) is usually used as bottle cap material.

PP (polypropylene): the density is 0.9-0.91 g / cm3, and the processing temperature is about 220 ℃;

Comparison of PE and PP:

(1) the density of PP is smaller than that of PE, and the strength, stiffness, hardness and heat resistance of PP are better than that of PE, which can be used at about 100 degrees;

(2) because PE is softer than PP, PE material is usually used for single cover;

(3) PE and PP materials are close in price and can be used for food packaging.
